We guide people who live with Post Traumatic Stress back to their lives - One Heart and One Connection at a time.

Helping Veterans and Active Duty Service Members Heal Their Invisible Wounds

Healing comes in many forms. At Harmony’s Heart Coaching we understand what it means to live with Post Traumatic Stress (PTS). More importantly, we know that healing from Post Traumatic Stress is not easy and definitely not achieved overnight.

Who We Are

Our Approach

Harmony’s Heart Coaching™ offers a safe and nurturing environment allowing you to explore your inner journey. Engaging with the Equine Gestalt Coaching Method® our horses are active partners during your coaching sessions. Together we help you identify and drop unfinished business that holds you back from fulfilling your dreams and your life purpose. Together we support your journey. Through our own life transformation, personal development and continuing evolution we, Glenn and Ashara understand the challenges that life brings. We are both graduates of the two-year Equine Gestalt Coaching Method® certification program. We facilitate private coaching sessions and group workshops

Our Story

We, Glenn and Ashara both spent a lifetime working in technology services for other companies. Sometime around 2010 Ashara heard about our mentor Melisa Pearce and her Equine Gestalt Coaching Method® certification program. Ashara researched the program, decided it felt right for her next career and enrolled. Being an observer by nature, I watched my life partner and best mate return from weekend workshops, called Cores, lit up from the inside as she learned how to become a certified coach. For six months this went on when I said, “I’m ready to take a leap”, I enrolled and began to understand what life as a coach meant, and more importantly, I discovered I had a lot of baggage that I was carrying around since early childhood.

After two years of intense personal development with a personal coach which was included with the program, eight weekend Cores of exorcising demons from our past while practicing our new coaching skills with other students under Melisa’s guidance, over 350 hours of coaching, business acumen and horse-related curriculum followed by a rigorous exam Ashara graduated in 2012 and I graduated in 2013.

We have a combined total of over 10 years of coaching experience.

We are also lovers of animals, both wild and domesticated as evidenced by our four-legged family. The team of equine coaches (4), our wonderful canines (4), and our fur-full felines (6). All of them are special and in their own way, healers.

Our Mission

To help veterans and active duty service members heal their invisible wounds from Post Traumatic Stress.

Our Program

We developed a program designed for people who are ready to move forward and find peace within. Combining group sessions with private time offers maximum results during your weekend with us. Groups are limited to 8 people ensuring the right level of interaction with others in the group, as well as your equine and human coaches.

A typical weekend includes:

  • An Opening Circle on Saturday
  • Personal Exploration
  • Group Interaction
  • “Step Up and Be Heard” – individual coaching session with the support of the group
  • “Equine Time” – group exploration with the horses
  • Lunch on Sat and Sun; Dinner on Sat
  • A Walkabout and Meditation
  • Personal Journaling
  • Group Interaction
  • “Step Up and Be Heard” – individual coaching session with the support of the group
  • “Equine Time” – group exploration with the horses
  • The Closing Circle on Sunday

Especially relevant is pairing people together creating weekend buddies who have each other’s backs, fronts, and sides! You are never alone in your journey. We understand the very personal nature of these sessions due to the vulnerable aspects of showing up and opening up. In our certification training, we were encouraged and most importantly we were supported by 10-12 other students and our mentor as we shared our most vulnerable selves. Consequently, we dropped a lot of baggage that we carried for YEARS! Remember what it was like to shuck a 50-75 pound pack at the end of the day?

Now you can drop your load in our arena - for YOUR BETTER LIFE!

Meet the Team

Ashara Morris, Certified Life Coach

Co-Founder & President

Ashara began her life in Wisconsin and has been in love with horses her entire life. She walked like a horse before she walked like a person, much to the embarrassment of her parents. It was okay when playing outside with her cousins, but at church? Not so much… Eventually she learned to control the urge to whinny and prance at inopportune moments, but she still does a pretty good side pass when the mood strikes.

Ashara always knew she wanted to do something that involved horses and animals, and helped people, but the right thing just never came along. She got sidetracked into the corporate world, and spent many years in computer support, doing training, technical writing, and fixing other people’s computer-related problems. Good experience, actually, for what was coming, as it taught her patience and an appreciation for the many different ways people look at a situation.

Glenn Weissel, Certified Life Coach, CBCA

Co-Founder, CEO, and Marketing Executive

Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. in an emotionally and physically toxic environment for nineteen years Glenn lives with Post Traumatic Stress. For over sixty years he has learned to navigate his life journey through mindfulness, meditation, martial arts, spiritual connection, and living as a Heart-Warrior. His mission is to serve other people who live with and suffer from Post Traumatic Stress. Glenn served in the US Air Force and supported the pilots to ensure they had safe and airworthy aircraft to fly their missions. Today, Colorado is home to clear views of the Rocky Mountains. When not coaching Glenn can be found with his camera and tripod exploring the mountains to unwind and breathe!

“We are all connected in Oneness. It is not a choice we make on a conscious level, rather it’s in our genetic makeup, our DNA. What happens to any one of us happens to all of us. Our coaching is based on this knowledge in our hearts and in our minds. We see our clients as whole beings on a journey that sometimes takes deviations away from their path. We help our clients rediscover their path when they are ready to rediscover their humanity and their souls.”

Look for Glenn's book Unwinding. It shares his memoirs and stories from our coaching experiences with veterans.

Constant and Never-Ending Improvement

We continue to evolve as humans and coaches, and to this end, we deepen our education every year to advance our professional and personal lives. Each morning we meditate to begin the day. As we open our hearts and minds we find our lives more inflow, going with the stream of life rather than against it. Of course, we have days where we’d rather be hiking in the mountains or riding backroads. Then we remember that we created our situations and learn from them. Onward!

Next Steps…

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” In this quote, Lao Tzu is trying to express that great things start from humble beginnings. We say, “The journey of your life starts here and now.”

The veterans and active service members have an ethos of serving another human being, many times at great cost to themselves. We understand the nature of this and we wish to help those people. Living with Post Traumatic Stress is a living hell and for many this leads to taking one’s life.

In the USA approximately one in four people who commit suicide are veterans. Forty-nine thousand veterans committed suicide between 2005 and 2011:

  • 8,167 per year
  • 680 per month
  • 23 per day
  • 1 per hour

We can help change that when people are ready to make a change in their lives. If you know someone, and it could be yourself, living with Post Traumatic Stress take action NOW!  Do something that creates a beginning to a new way of living.
